The original Micro Machines was the only good one. One of the best make-a-map modes ever!

Mario Kart 64 wasn't terrible, but the SNES one is still the definitive Mario Kart, for me. Mind you, I've never really been into Nintendo.

The DS version is the best one I've played and I've played them all extensively other than the Wii version.

The Wii one is full of them. I used to love the 64 one as a kid but nowadays the whole there's-always-at-least-two-characters-you'll-never-quite-shake-off thing is irritating. The Wii and DS ones are a lot more balanced.

Yep. The NDS one has 16 new tracks and 16 from previous games.
